Lahore: An organization from Pakistan has demanded that Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh be given the country's highest gallantry medal 'Mark A. Haider'. The organization has also demanded that his statue should be installed at Lahore's Shadman Chowk, where he was hanged 86 years ago. The demanding organization is working to prove the freedom fighters in the court innocent.

The Bhagat Singh Memorial Foundation also demanded the name of Shadman Chowk Bhagat Singh Chowk and said that the Punjab government should not delay it further. It said, "The countries which forget their heroes have disappeared like the wrong words from the surface of the earth." The organization of Hafiz Saeed is strongly opposing the proposal to rename the name of the Jamaat-ud-Dawa Shadman Chowk and He also threatened civil society people on this issue.

Bhagat Singh and his two companions-Rajguru and Sukhdev were hanged in Lahore on March 23, 1931 for conspiracy against British rule and the assassination of British police officer John P. Sanders. Bhagat Singh Memorial Foundation gave a fresh petition to the Government of Punjab province of Pakistan that Bhagat Singh had sacrificed his life for the independence of the subcontinent.

In its application, he said, "Pakistan's founder, Kaydat Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, paid tribute to freedom fighter saying that there is no hero like him in the subcontinent." The organization said, "Bhagat Singh is our hero And he deserves to receive the highest gallantry award (Mark A. Haider) just like Major Aziz Bhatti, who wrote on the gallantry of Bhagat Singh and gave him our hero and ideals Had declared. "
It also said that the government should establish a statue of Bhagat Singh at Shadman Chowk so that the people of Pakistan and the world are inspired as a symbol of freedom fighter. Foundation's chairman Imtiaz Rashid Qureshi said that he will continue to raise this issue and will continue to pressurize the government to accept the demand.

Qureshi is also fighting for reopening the case relating to Bhagat Singh and his two companions in the Lahore High Court, so that these freedom fighters can be proved innocent. The matter is pending in the court.
