American Sikhs will showcase the 'Anchor' tableau in California's famous Rose Parade

WASHINGTON: Sikhs in America will host a 'Anchor Service' tableau on the Rose Parade to be held on New Year's Eve in South California.

The tableau is expected to show 90,959 flowers and 500 pounds of vegetables in an anchor hall. A beautiful brick wall will also be displayed in the tableau, there will be a marble dome and carved domes found in Darbar Sahib will also be seen.

This will be the fourth year in a row when a table of Sikh will be included in the popular Rose Parade in California. Bhajanit Singh, a member of the Sikh Committee, responsible for preparing the tableau for the fourth year, said, "I have always had a dream in California to see a table of Sikh in the Tournament of Roses Parade."
