Afghanistan: Three bomb blasts in one day killed 40 including 11 children

At least 29 people, including 8 journalists, died in a double suicide bomber in Afghanistan's capital on Monday. A few days later, 11 children of a madrasa died in the car bomb blast in Kandhar province.

Terrorist organization Islamic State has taken responsibility for the Kabul blast, in which eight journalists, including FP's Chief Photographer Shah Miraii were killed. However, no one has taken responsibility for the Kandahar attack.
