Three killed over property dispute in Model Town

Three people of the same family were murdered over an alleged property dispute in Delhi's Model Town. The deceased have been identified as Jaspal and his wife Prabhjot Kaur and his younger brother Gurijit.

A senior police officer investigating the case said, "Prima facie Gurijit and the couple attacked each other. Gurijit has stab injuries, Jaspal and his wife have been shot dead."

The police said that the two brothers who live in the same building, have been at loggerheads for years. The motive behind the murder is unclear but the police suspect old enmity over a property dispute.

A case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered at the Delhi Model Town police station. The crime and the forensic team have been sent to the spot.

The police have registered a case and begun probe.
