WASHINGTON: The Trump Administration today claimed that in 2017 there was an alleged pressure on the media institutions that were critical of the government in India. The Trump Government further said in this claim that such critics were disturbed by media institutions. The US government has been seen as the party's candidate for the Modi government, while the report has come to the notice of the PMO tweeting that this government should be criticized, the criticism strengthening democracy.
