Pakistan will try Kulbhushan Jadhav on terrorism, sabotage charges: Report

The fresh trial comes despite the International Court of Justice restraining Pakistan from executing the jailed Indian till adjudication of the case before it.


Former Indian Navy commander Kulbhushan Jadhav, who has been awarded death penalty in Pakistan, is now facing trial in another case. The
latest trial against Jadhav is concerning to charges of terrorism and sabotage against him.
According to Pakistan-based Dawn, Jadhav has several cases related to terrorism charges against him. Notably, the fresh trial comes despite the International Court of Justice restraining Pakistan from executing the jailed Indian till adjudication of the case before it.
Dawn reported quoting an official that Jadhav has multiple cases against him in which he had been indicted on terror and sabotage related charges. The cases are progressing, the paper quoted the official saying. 
He said only the spying case against Jadhav has been concluded out of the multiple cases against him. The paper quoting a source also said that Pakistan on a number of occasions had sought access to 13 Indian officials to ascertain information in the case. 
But New Delhi has remained stubbornly uncooperative, the paper said.
