Damascus: 28 children, including seven children, 11 women, including Russian air strikes

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a UK based human rights organisation, said that 19 civilians were killed in the Russian air strikes yesterday in the city of Misraba.



Beirut: At least 28 civilians were killed in Syria's capital, Damascus, in eastern Dive, which was captured by rebels, most of whom were killed in Russia's air strikes.

UK-based human rights group Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said killed 19 people yesterday Russian air strikes in Misraba city while others were killed in shelling by government forces.

The organization's chief Rami Abdel Rahman said that there were seven children and 11 women in the killed. More than 340,000 people have been killed in the civil war that began in 2011, and millions of people have been displaced.

Eastern Dive is a small town in the capital of Damascus, mostly on the part of the rebels of the Jaish al-Islam group. Russia launched attacks in 2015 in support of the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's army.
